I want to upgrade my pc.. the base parts are terrible.. mobo, cpu, gpu, memory, and power supply.. would i be able to use my hard drive, os, disk drive, case, and the rest if i replaced the other parts?.. the processor is amd.. if i got a new mobo could i use intel? i was planning on getting an i3

You could reuse your hard drive, cd drive and case but not your motherboard. You cant put and Intel on an AMD (vice versa <->).

If your reuse your hard drive, your going to have to format it because Windows is set up to wirk with the hardware that it was first installed in. You could also reuse your power supply if its in good shape.
