Scooby doo dancer LE

I have Windows 7 Home and I have been having trouble trying to use this Scooby doo dancer LE demo thing that I use to use on Windows XP. I looked up on google and it said it would work on Vista so I assumed it would work on 7 but it doesn't it says you are not using Windows XP OS. I also tried using the program compatability mode and set it to Windows XP SP3 but still won't work. Is there a way I can make it install on my Windows 7 computer?

Are you using 32-bit or 64-bit Win 7?

Since this is pretty much a new computer it has 64-bit forsure.

Look in Control Panel/System to be sure.

Trust me I' am very sure since when I got this system it said it was 64 bit on the specs for my system.

Do you have the latest version of the application? Seems there are a few versions out there. You are correct, if it will run on Vista, it should run with Win7.

That's the same version that I used and it doesn't work. It still says it can't install since it doesn't detect that I' am using Windows XP. There must be a way to work on Windows 7 though since some people say it works.

When you try to install, are you installing as administrator (right click on the executable file you downloaded and select "run as administrator"?

I have done that already basicly in compatability mode I select run this as admin and selected run as Windows XP SP3. I have also done the way you said before but still that doesn't work.

It is entirely possible that this file may indeed not be compatible with Win 7. Seems odd that it won't play, but certainly not the first older app to not make the transition.

When I return home later today. I will try to load the file on one of my Win 7 x64 systems to see what I can figure out for you.

BTW, does this file run in Media Player or as a stand alone? I have seen both modes indicated while looking at this problem for you.

I do know it's not like a plugin for Windows Media player or anything it is a stand alone program since normaly the installation wizard shows and you just install it.

No luck here either. Sorry, but looks like you need to find another app to pass the time. Tried several install options and saw the same results you have had.
