Yea but still will they accept it. You would have to argue that the board came with bent pins and how much does that actually happen? Probably not very often since pretty much all boards come with a socket cover. If they accept an RMA even from user mishandling then it's not a problem but if they don't you're going to have to make a good argument.

BUT it's going to be a huge pain. Those 1155 socket pins are so small, he could try a very small flat head screwdriver but even that is going to be a pain. It seems like the feeling here on the forums is if you bend the pins on a motherboard just RMA it, it's not worth the effort and headache of trying to fix the bent pins.

I have fixed bent pens before, all it takes is a steady hand but some are just beyond any effort to recover especially if the pin breaks away from the socket or chips off leaving behind only a portion remaining.

I never bent the pins on an LGA motherboard but I have seen others bend them and in most cases it was easier just to RMA it. The only pins I'll try to fix is AMD CPU pins. They're pretty easy to fix with just a .5 mechanical pencil.

Try RMA the motherboard, it is not the CPU, it's the motherboard's socket where the pins are located. There's no harm in trying, RMA it ASAP, Good luck!

not a micro of course
pins located on bottom left
i hope that the CPU runs again or a i have to wait again until i get money again and buy another one :fou:

i try to fix the pins with a 0.35 mech. pencil
and forget ABOUT IT
socket 1155 is so Nano i can't do it
i hope they accept The Mobo as RMA
also i was planing to host lan party
i think that Issue will delay me :(

Looks like one pin is missing and another is bent. I've been thinking that the mark on your cpu could be damaged from an arc. Two other pins are bent and can be fixed but I bet that your board was already damaged before you got it, when someone screws up putting in the cpu the first time the bent pins are in the same general spot not a ways apart. RMA the board and make up some story about the cpu and RMA that too.
