I was in the process of trying to install my M.2 and the screw wouldn't come off, so I tried to get it off with pliers. While doing this, a tiny component labeled LEDD3 or LED03(label got scratched) got scratched off the surface of my motherboard.

Okay, very sorry to hear that...Sounds like you have damaged a part on the motherboard.....Just in case, try resetting the BIOS...Not sure how on your motherboard but there should be a jumper switch..

Luckily, they are not that expensive as you can pick up a Z370 motherboard like the MSI - Z370-A Pro for $103.99 and it will fit no issues in the case and with the parts that you have...

Unless Cyberpower are willing to replace it based on any warranty that you have....
..

I need to kow the manufacturer..is it MSI, Gigabyte, Asus etc...I think you may be talking about the CyberPower PC but need to know the motherboard make as I can then take a look at the motherboard and identify LED3...

Without a picture of the scratch, I can't a: narrow it down on the motherboard and more importantly to see whether the damage is bad...Bottom line, you should try at start your PC to see whether everything is okay any way as the damage might..I say might, be superficial and everything will work..If it does work, then do a couple of tests, like gaming, Aida64 load test and make sure it runs through the tests...If it does, you are okay...

Okay, thats final....You have 2 options, 1 is Cyberpower to repair/replace through warranty which might be painful as you lose the PC for a while...Or just replace the motherboard for roughly a $100...which will be a fairly easy swap...
