Hey everyone.
Today I tried to remove my GTX 1080 because I'm going to sell it to a friend of mine tomorrow. As I was trying to get it out of the PCI slot with the help of a screwdriver, I slipped and seem to have damaged it.

Here are some pictures of the damage: https://imgur.com/a/gZikpdz

After that, I plugged everything back in and tried to start my computer. For now, everything seems to work fine.

But now to my question: Did I damage something important and thus have ruined my motherboard?

For anyone wondering, I'm using an Asus Strix z270f

Solution
Your Motherboard is made out of multiple layers, so you are fine for now. but you dont need a screwdriver to flick the PCI-e slot, it will only make things worse before you know it.

it CAN cause problems in the future, but lets hope that is not the case, the scratch is quite small anyway
