Question Scratched the back of the motherboard

Recently I accidentally scratched the back of my motherboard, and now RAM slots 1 and 2 don't work.

When I insert any RAM sticks into either of these slots, the PC doesn't post, the DRAM warning light turns on and the PC shuts down and boots up periodically.

Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro WiFi
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3600 (8x2)

My questions are:
  1. Any suggestions on what I should do next?
  2. Why is it that the back of slot 1 is scratched, but slot 2 is also affected?
Note: The motherboard I'm using utilizes dual channel, so I can't populate slots 3 and 4 to create 16gb.

You might want to elaborate on the slots you're populating the sticks with.

According to your manual, page 12, you should populate slots A1 and B1 or A2 and B2(int hat pairing) to get dual channel. See if that works, also, try with just one stick of ram, make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for the motherboard and then try with two sticks as suggested prior.

Currently slots B1 and B2 don't work, because I scratched the back of the slot (see image above), so I can't use both RAM sticks regardless (dual channel).

And yes I tried with 1 stick of ram, different slot configurations, etc.
B1 and B2 refuses to work.

Also A1 and A2 are working just fine, the system posts with no issue when I put ram sticks in them.

Any suggestions on how should I continue?
