Screen Blacking Out

I just built my first PC a few months back, when I play certain games the screen blacks out.
the only thing that peaks when it blacks out is the wireless network, but the game I play doesn't use an internet connection; furthermore, when I play the game with steam in offline mode, it never blacks out.

Why does it do this and how can I fix it without turning steam to offline mode? any help is appreciated!

Specs:
Intel core i5 7500,
asrock h270m-itx,
crucial ballistix sport LT 8gb,
Seagate FireCudda 2tb,
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050ti 4gb,
Corsair csm 550w 80+ gold,
New aoc monitor,
Windows 10.

That's a weird problem.
What is the wireless adapter and how is it attached to the PC (ie USB or PCIe)

It’s built in to the motherboard

the obvious test is to disable it and try a cheap USB wireless dongle as a test.

You could also try upgrading the driver for it. It should be an Intel 3160NGW .. check this because specs change at build time
