Screen blacks out

So I can't figure out what's going on. Everything use to work without any issues until I installed a GTX 1060. Now when I'm scrolling through webpages (and as far as I can tell, ONLY when scrolling through webpages) the screen will intermittently go entirely black for about a second before returning to normal, I'll get a few revs of the scroll wheel in and then it will do it again. I use this computer to edit photos and video and occasionally game and this problem never arises then. The drivers are all up to date, I can't figure out what is causing this and it's starting to drive me nuts.

Well of course right after posting this I figure it out, I turned off hardware acceleration in chrome and now no more problems
