Question Screen blank fans spin really fast

So, I have an HP omen desktop. Everything was great until about 3 months ago. Occasionally, but not always, whenever I'm gaming I'll hear the fans (assuming gpu) start spinning really fast and it goes to a blank screen

I have to restart the PC whenever it does that. Not sure how to get an accurate reading on the temps? Any suggestions? Maybe monitor when starting the game???

How would I know if it's the PSU?

This is too little to go on. Get hwinfo, run it on sensors only, and it will identify the cpu and gpu, as well as cover their operating temperature.

Hardware is usually responsible for this situation.
Power supplies age; the performance and reliability are at their max during the first year of use.
