Hello,

As I've said in the title I have an issue. Recently my PC started doing that too often.Screen goes black and fans go crazy for absolutely no reason (at least none I can see). Sometimes it does that in the windows login (this happens too often), sometimes gaming, sometimes netflix. My PC Specs as follows;

-MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X SLI DirectX 12 VR Ready Graphics Card (GTX 1080 ARMOR 8G OC)

-ASUS Prime B350-Plus AMD Ryzen AM4 DDR4 HDMI DVI VGA M.2 USB 3.1 ATX B350 Motherboard

-AMD Ryzen 7 1700X Processor (Which I have overclocked when I got the PC. However this issue is new. Not related to that IMO. Anyway it was 3.9ghz, I reduced it to 3.8 after this issue)

-Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (1x16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz

-Samsung 960 EVO Series - 250GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD

-EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2, 80+ GOLD 750W, Fully Modular

Thank you for your help!

Solution
@ gorrak use can of compressed air to clean up dust since the compressor could made static and some use a little bit of oil to lubricate the air pump on them .
I'm not sure but its probably gpu, as screen goes black but the sounds still play. And also I get an sound notification when this happen (you know, the sound when you disconnect a usb or something like that)

I had a similar problem and after trying the obvious (drivers, reseating, etc) I solved it by taking my tower to the gas station and blowing out the dust from the PSU and using different plugs for the GPUs power connectors (my PSU is modular). After this it was fine!!

I honestly believe it was shorting out due to dust and recommend anyone with this problem start by cleaning their psu with high pressure air.
