My laptop screen cable recently broke. Can this be a cause that prevents my laptop to startup and from charging. Because it is when the screen cable broke when it refused to start and charge.
Could be, really depends on the system. I have seen systems work find without the screen connected at all, just used with an external monitor. Of course happened to cause the cable to break may also have caused other damage.
Hi hang-the-9
Thanks. Maybe if i cange the cable would it work then? By the way my laptop is a Samsung NP300E5E
It may, only way to know is try it and see. If something is broken, you can't do harm in fixing it. If it does not cure the issue with the laptop starting then you can go look at something else.
I have been using my laptop through an external monitor for a while also until i figured out that my screen cable wad unplugged. Then one day it was unplugged again and while plugging it in, some wires got disconnected from the connector and then my pc won't start up or even charge
