[SOLVED] Screen discoloration?

Recently, I noticed that the color of my screen on the top left corner is different from the rest of it. Unfortunately, my warranty expired 2 months ago so I can't chat with acer support to identify the problem. Does anyone know what causes this problem? I also wonder if my monitor will die soon because of this issue.

That looks like the top right corner and that it spreads along the top. Maybe it's moisture penetration or the screen de-laminating. That's just my guess looking at the picture.
