Hi Guys,

I have finally got round to moving my other PC to where my TV is. I have now linked my PC to the 40" TV via a HDMI connection. It looks absolutely immense! The only issue I'm having at the minute is that in 1080p resolution, the edges of my screen are cut off (the image is to big for the screen basically). I have had to downscale to 1440*900 to make it fit. How can I make it fit in 1080p?

Computer spec is:

Phenom II x4
16gb DDR3 1600mhz
GTX460 EVGA
Windows 7 Home Premium

appreciate any help sorting this :)

use Nvidia control panel to resize the screen, you can change is pixel by pixel until it fits, you'll probably end up with something like 1860x1040. I had it set up like that for a while because i didn't have the remote for my tv. After I bought a suitable universal remote, I messed with the settings on the tv and found something that made the screen smaller but kept the resolution, I think it was called overscan, sorry I'm at work and can't check it out, just mess around with your settings a bit or try the first option, either way should solve your problem.
