Screen Does not turn off

Hello,

I just replaced an inverter for a Compaq laptop but I'm running into something I can't find help for. As soon as I plug in the laptop to power, the back light turnes on and will not turn off unless I remove Power. The same thing happens with the battery plugged in. Its odd that the moment the laptop receives power, it turns on the backlight even with the laptop not being turned on. Any help?!

Hello...Have you fixed this issue? Ive never seen it before, but am currently running into the same issue with an entire batch of panels...crazy
