Screen flashes after windows 8 logo

Dell 15r-3317u-5521 ..why does my screen blinks(flashes once in 4 s) after windows 8 logo,but when i installed ubuntu, my pc works just fine
I tried safe boot,auto repair,but the issue remains.
Can I retrieve windows 8 back ..?
