Weird situation I haven't been able to diagnose properly.

Whenever I move physically away from my computer my primary monitor flickers as if changing resolution. I don't understand why.

I've tried different video cables and recently I upgraded my GPU.

Is this some sort of EMF problem? Is there a voltage problem on my motherboard that gets grounded by my wheeling my chair away from the computer???

Sound like an issue with a loose cable, the only way I could see this happening is as a result of vibrations when you move your chair wiggling a wire around, id check all your connections, hopefully the loose cable is visible and not physically inside your monitor

Thank you for your reply. I've checked and replaced most cables over time as the issue has been happening across 2 years. In that time I've changed desks, monitor mounts, and rooms.

It isn't even so much rolling the chair, as the recline forward or backward. Like my body movement is triggering the interaction somehow.
