Question Screen Flicker

Im not sure what is going on but I switched my gpu to a lower slot in my pc and it keeps flickering on and off.. Not frequently but every so often 3 or 4 times then it stops. All I have is my 970, a network card and I just put in today the elgato hd60 pro. Ive had this video card for about 4 years now.. do you guys also think I should upgrade?

Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard? Why did you move your GPU to a lower slot?
