Screen flickering, jumping.

So I recently bought a used laptop (first mistake) and everything seemed at startup. However, once the laptop booted up the screen began to randomly flicker and distort. The guy I bought the laptop from said that instead of resetting the laptop he reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows. Thinking that maybe he installed the wrong GPU drivers, I found what GPU the laptop has and installed the correct drivers but the problem still persists. Now I'm thinking that the graphics card is going bad, but I don't know enough about computers to know if that's what it is. I've tried running several tests from Dell's website and still nothing has fixed it. Multiple uninstalls and reinstalls of drivers and nothing works. If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated. My specs are listed below:

Dell Inspiron 5555

AMD A10-8700P Radeon R6, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G 1.8GHz - Max Speed 3.2GHz
12GB RAM

I read through and tried pretty much everything listed in that post, but so far nothing has fixed it. My laptop is a different model than that one and doesn't have the options for a extended battery in Power Options.

That seems to be above Toms level of expertise, try posting in Dell Community, I hope you get your answers there.

Thanks for letting me know, if none post there by Monday, I will either bump it up or will check if I know anyone from laptop Community (I know quite a few from desktop) to get their help.
