TWO DAYS OLD - MACBOOK PRO SCREEN FLICKERS WHEN CONNECTED SINGLE EXTERNAL DISPLAY VIA USB-C TO HDMI

This is my second unit. I paid $4163.

The first unit with the same specs was returned by me on December 17, 2018 for the same issue with the screen flickering when hooked up an external display.

Decided to try it again so reordered the same model. As you can see it also flickers. I've tried everything including different external displays, and the MacBook Pro flickers regardless of type.

Try a different cable would be my first choice.

Already tried changing cables and adapters. Tried changing external monitors. Tried the downstairs circuit system. Even running everything through a power conditioner. This unit like the previous one flickers.

Any other way of connectivity aside from the USB-C to HDMI?

USBC to mini-display but why would I want or have to do that on a unit I paid $4200 for?

Have you tried a thunderbolt connector to hdmi?

Both adapters have been USB-c to hdmi which is the same as thunderbolt 3. One adapter is from apple the other is a hyperdrive. Screen flickering only on the MacBook pro using both adapters .
