I have seen this problem about on the internet but i cant seem to fix it. I have tried downloading and reinstalling the drivers and that didn't work. I have tried inserting the graphics card and making sure the power connector is plugged in correctly and that didn't seem to work either. As well as the flickering there is also a quiet buzzing sound which starts and stops immediately after a enter and exit the game. I am running a i5 6600k and Gigabyte GTX 1060 6GB displayed on a Benq XL2411Z.

usually flickering is caused by power cables that are around your PC and just power in general. You should be seeing white pulsating lines on your screen if this is the case. If it is different and in different colors other than white than it can either be your GPU causing the problem(i had green lines on my screen when my gpu was having problems) or it could be the input cable causing trouble. Try shaking your DVI/VGA or whatever input you are doing and see if it changes anything or better yet take a picture with your phone if those lines can be seen and post a link

https://youtu.be/fStrz8MSXTg it was hard to get a picture of it so here. I have tried using Hdmi instead of dvi but that hasnt solved the problem. Something to note as well if it helps is that when i try to take a screen shot through the computer it doesnt show up on the S.S. Since you mentioned power I had only just started notice a quiet "electro static" buzz when i turned the computer off and listened carefully. I will take thr shroud off the PSU and take a close look at the connectors. It also seems to get worse as the games become more graphically intensive like for example it isnt as bad in CSGO than Overwatch.

I have fixed the problem. not sure what it was but i ended up taking all the connectors out and back in again and same with the graphics card.
