Question Screen flickers then game crashes ?

Over the last few days I've had a few issues I have not dealt with before. I'm not sure what started it but it began with a few game crashes in games that had been running fine before. Both my screens would go black for just a moment but when they came back the game would crash. I'd get the generic "such and such exe. has stopped working" error. It's done this when I was not running a game but web browsers and other programs do not crash when this happens. And then a few times waking my system out of sleep mode windows fails to boot and get stuck in a loop of diagnosing and restarting until I stop it. After shutting it down and leave it off for several minutes it will boot just fine.

Nothing is over heating as far as I can tell. I've monitored the temps of CPU, GPU, and Motherboard when the crash happens none are anywhere near overheating, most barely touch the 50 C area. I have been running through forums looking for anyone with a similar issue but all I find is people with full black screen crashes that force them to restart their system.
All Drivers have been updated.
