Screen Freezes at different times

Today I have a problem with Windows Freezing on me, idk if it's the drive or if it's windows. As soon as I launch into the menu to log in, the screen freezes, some times its a min after I log in or before I log into my home screen. Not sure if a drive is failing

S8nce you did not specify if your system is a laptop or desktop. I have read that a few wifi cards will cause a win10 system to freeze while the drivers are loading. Try this

Restart your PC. When you get to the sign-in screen, hold the Shift key down while you select Power Power icon
> Restart.

After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.

After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select 4 or F4 to start your PC in Safe Mode. Or if you'll need to use the Internet, select 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking. Select no networking see if the freezing stops. If you system boots normal than the wifi is the cause. If not troubleshooting begins.

I am using a desktop and no network card.

Still try the safe mod option see if you system boots normal. Windows 10 seems to have issues with some drivers. Some back ground, did this system have windows 10 preinstalled or did you upgrade from another version of windows? To find out your build of windows 10

press Windows Key + R, type winver press enter
