I just updated my hardware with a intel i5 4670K and an asus z87-a motherboard. When I installed windows my screen froze several times like this: http://i.imgur.com/dEl7Px5.jpg
After I removed my graphics card, 2 out of 4 RAM-sticks and all my harddrives except for the main one (ssd) I could finally complete the windows install without any freezes.
My screen still freezes within 15 minutes from starting the computer so I can't even run windows update or install drivers from the cd. What is the problem and how can I solve it?
It's also hard to start the computer, it takes 2 or 3 restarts to get into the bios and from there I have to select device too boot from (my ssd with win7).
A flowchart from another site blamed the psu, my psu is a deltaco 500 watt and I need to power an XFX 7950, an asus z87-a with i5 4670K and some harddrives + cd-reader and cpu cooling.
I'm going to try to install the os on a regular harddrive now but I really doubt that will make a difference.
Thanks for any help
