Question Screen freezing 5-10 minutes after boot. Did I install Windows wrong?

I have been having problems with my screen freezing 5-10 minutes after bootup. I ruled out all the other parts in my system by testing them in another pc. I think it may have something to do with either the way I put Windows 10 onto the m.2 drive, or perhaps the drive is just bad?

I have a Samsung 970 m.2 NVMe 500gb SSD. I have successfully booted up from my old HDD when plugging it into my new PC.

I used an iso file from Softlay.net. I downloaded it on my Macbook pro, put the iso file into a 16gb fat32 formatted drive. I put the drive into my PC and booted from the old HDD (the drive that functions properly not the SSD). I used RUFUS to make the USB bootable. I then restarted the computer and entered BIOS. I prioritized the USB as the boot drive and then installed windows. This is actually the second time I have installed Windows 10 onto the SSD. The first time I did it, I used the same bootable USB that was used on my old HDD.

Do I need to put Windows on it differently, or is the SSD shot?
