Hello, everyone.

Here is the issue I've been having. Last night I put my computer back together after nearly a year without using it (I was doing some voluntary work, so I couldn't use it).

After doing so, I updated all the drivers and nearly everything other than Windows Updates. I was good to go. I played some LOL and it was great, just like before. However, at some point, I restarted to install Windows updates and it froze, so I forced it to shut down, as I turned it back on, it installed the updates and then it gave me the black screen (like, no signal screen).

I shut it off again and tried and the same thing happened. I figured I'd have to format it due to some problems with the updates. So I did just that. As I formated it, the computer started just fine, the screen turned itself on, I had the graphic cards showing as Generic Windows Display or something like that.

So I decided to install the Nvidia Drive from their website. As it was installing, the screen would go black just like before and it would not come back on after one hour. So, again, I forced it to shut down and the screen would work up to the Windows logo, after that it wouldn't work.

I have read something on the forums about using the onboard graphic card, the only issue I have is that my motherboard doesn't have a graphic card. So I need to use my GTX780.

Can someone light up the say so I can fix this issue? I was so happy for having the opportunity to play again.

My specs: Asus Rampage IV Extreme
32GB G Skill Sniper Ram
i7-3930k
3x GTX 780 EVGA OC

I have tried disconnecting the main 780, leaving it dual sli, but it didn't work, so I am formatting the computer again.

Thank you!

Make sure that it isn't thinking there is another monitor connected to the system and it is using that as the primary display. Mine does that all of the time with my 55" LCD tv. I have to stop myself from screaming when it comes up with the black screen all the time.

Really? I am also using a Sony TV at the moment, because I don't have any monitors home. :(
And here is something I want to add...

I just formatted the computer and left only ONE graphic card and it is working well so far. But now I have two GTX 780 just sitting here and I'd like to put them in, but I am not sure whether I should or I should not. I really don't wanna format it again. :(

How do you get it work when it thinks that there is another monitor? I really cannot go through another format today. LOL I just did it 3 times and 2 recoveries. :(

Thanks!

I tried connecting the other graphic cards, it did turn on, but after a while it went black screen, but not the same sort as before (as if there was nothing connected), this time the screen just went dark, as if it should be dark.
