Screen going black

Hello

I've noticed a problem that started to happen with my graphics card,

I've got a 980ti and I've download the EVGA performance OC

When I max the everything out and click apply the screen just goes black and I can't do anything

When I have it on default it works fine but now when it turns on it just goes black

Specs

Intel i7 4790k @ 4 GHZ

Evga GtX 980 ti 6gbs

16 gb ram

100 ssd

1 tb hhd

Sounds like you over shot the voltage needed to keep the card stable. If you want more power I suggest you get ready for Nvidia's 1080ti. due to its going to be almost as fast as the titan it would be a great step up.

How can I fix this then?

You need to either lower your gpu clock offset or increase the voltage power target. Then apply settings. Tho I suggest uninstalling the software and upgrade to the 1080ti once its out.

Uninstall the evga program?

Also wouldn't the 1080ti be $700+

I'm expecting Nvidia to shift all their cards prices. You may see a 1080 for $499 with the 1080ti slipping into their $600 price range. If the leakes are correct the 1070 which is also a bit faster than the 980ti will be $329 from its $399 price tag.
