[SOLVED] Screen has black borders

Running in 1440p, correct resolution and refresh rate, scaling is correct as well. Just reinstalled Windows 10 (less than 1 hr) and resat my monitor (ASUS VG27AQ) settings.

No, I didn't try re-installing graphics drivers, as I literally installed them less than an hour ago. I don't know if I had the issue back then, but after restarting a few times I noticed them.
EDIT: Re-installed graphics drivers through NVIDIA GeForce Experience. Still having this issue.
EDIT #2: Did a clean and restart using DDU, re-intstalled using NVIDIA GeForce Experience once again, still not working.
EDIT #3: Tried 2 DP ports, same result.

How deep are those black borders? Because I'm thinking you may actually just be expecting what's seen on the promo images such as:

Looks about right compared to the 2nd picture. Am I an idiot for not noticing this for a long time and now thinking it's a mistake? haha :) IDK why they have the black borders though, kinda interested.
