I had this problem before but with rgb coloured lines lol, that seemed to be a GPU problem, which I got replaced and it was better but I still couldn't game on heavy games with high graphics, that seemed to be a PSU problem as the PC would just reboot. However, just last night I was trying out a game and it was going alright, about 20 mins in the PC crashes, restarts with white lines. This morning I upgraded the drivers for the GPU and restarted, now it's been stuck on the screen just after the BIOS. I let it play out for a bit and a blue screen came up saying DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

Someone please help, I'm getting tired of this shit lol

Forgot to mention specs:

2 sticks of hyperx 8gb ram (16gb ttl)
Ssd 250gb some Samsung model
2tb HDD
Corsair CX850M PSU
GTX 780ti GPU
i7 4770k CPU
anything more just let me know

Solution
Good to see that things are better, although not perfect! Yeah, it could be that your GPU is affecting the compute the most. Have you tried just completely removing the GPU from the computer and seeing if it works well.

Thanks for the reply, appreciate it, it doesn't show those numbers im afraid.

However, i booted into safe mode through that diagnosing poop stage. From there I disabled my GPU which at the time said it was doing fine however, the generic non-pnp monitor thing had the yellow caution sign thing on it. I have been through this procedure a few times mainly after going to safe mode and uninstalling gpu drivers then installing new ones and restarting. I went to safe mode to uninstall it and the pc would load properly again, however when I reinstall new drivers and restart it just dies again. So must be the GPU lol but now I just disabled it but still have the white lines, might just take it out all together :/
