Screen issues when increasing hertz

I built this computer and bought the screen about a year and a half ago

Maybe 8 months into gaming i started getting this purple taint to the right of the screen, this was at 144 hertz

They dissapeared when i lowered it to 120 hertz but now they started appearing again so I lowered to 100 to be able to play

This is now how it looks at 120 hertz

Is this an issue with me screen or something else on my computer?

Monitor: VG248QE

Intel i-4460 CPU 3.20 ghz

8 gb ram

Windows 10 64 bit

Amd radeon r9 390

Im not sure I understand what your saying here it seems pretty vague, I was using 144 hz for over 8 months and it was fine at first

any other solutions?
