Screen looks broken but it's not?

It looks like my screen is broken, but I'm sure it's intact. Is this a virus or something and what can I do about it?

Well you said that you are sure it's intact. So if it looks like a crack....... Then maybe something hit it and it is now damaged.

It's not damaged on the outside, it looks like some fake screensaver.

It certainly looks cracked. Try taking the monitor to another PC and connecting it there, see if it persists. That will be the only way.

ummm....,.... its broke. Clearly.......... Unless you think that your computer has a screen saver that

1. Runs during bios

2. Runs on 1/6 of the screen

3. Is designed to make your screen look broke.

I know it looks broke. The word screensaver wasn't chosen very carefully. I'm thinking about a virus or something; what else could of cause this
