Heyya
Problem: I cant get my pc to play on TV through HDMI.
I got a pc connected to a monitor through a dvi to HDMI cable, and a four way splitter connected to the HDMI slot on my computer which goes to 4 tvs. When I was first setting this system up, The Computer showed up on all 4 tvs fine. I was switching between my monitor and tvs by just unplugging one HDMI and plugging the other HDMI into my computer. Now for some reason its not showing up on the TVs no matter what. I did do a manual reinstall of the graphics driver which is the only thing I can think of that changed between it working and not.
The only time I can see a picture on my TVs is if I boot in safe mode, or if I install the basic graphics driver.
Anyone know how to fix this?
The computer detects the monitor and I can even slide stuff from my main monitor into the TV's, its just not receiving a signal.
Just for reference, the hdmi coming out of my pc goes through a 100ft cable to the splitter, which splits it to between 10ft and 50 ft to the four different tvs.
From what I can tell its a driver problem but I've reinstalled the drivers and it hasn't changed anything.
I thought maybe it was a cable problem since its so long and it splits, but it worked before and I tried it with a little micca video player and that works as well.
