Screen pushed to right

I opened the game Battlefield 1942 and after closing the game my Screen had been shifted and/or pushed to the right. I tried messing with my Graphics card Screen position and Resolutions and it doesn't seem to fix it. When moving the position the black spot on the left side of my Screen stays there and my screen is just eaten by it...

When turning the Resolution down it seems to fix the problem but hurts my eyes.... I want the computer back to the orginal resolution i had it and not have this Black line on the left of my Screen.... When looking around for fixes everyone says its a normal problem when opening up older games however they don't give me a fix..

Still haven't fixed it however i tried to restart everything to Default in Nvidia...... then reinstalled the driver... and still nothing is helping....... When the screen goes to sleep and/or the resolution is below 1024 x 768 its fine. After the screen wakes up from being asleep it moves the screen back over to the right after a few seconds... THIS IS SOOO ANNOYING

You have to use the monitor position menu to help you center the screen.
Those are the physical buttons on the monitor itself.

I do not have any thing of that nature on my Monitor.
My GPU has the options in the Control panel but those do not work.

It freaking started doing it again..... And no i use a HDTV as a monitor it was just more easy at the time on my Wallet.
And the problem just showed up ONCE AGAIN -_- and i switched to using the HDMI just to see if the problem will still be there and it is.....

It has been working for a few years with no problem i opened BF 1942 which is a rather old game that reverting my Windows Resolution to like 800 x 600 and wen't into Windows XP compatibility mode thing to allow it to run..... and after i closed the game it started doing this.... and has not work since

When moving it in Nvidia controll panel im able to move it further right, upwards, and downwards... but when trying to move it left the blackness just basically eats whats on the screen.....

THIS IS VERY ANNOYING i can change the resolution to 1024 x 768 and it fixes the problem however the screen flickers and once i open a Game it shows the black line on the left..

Went to store found a Programmable remote for my Screen(It didn't have a menu button on the side)

reset my PC settings and now its Fixed.
