Question screen randomly lost signal and fans went loud when playing a game

I've been playing assassins creed origins on and off for the past week, today I boot the game up play it for about 15 mins and then my screen goes black showing a "signal lost" and my fans went loud. I tried ctrl alt delete, I could here windows sounds but still black screen. U rebooted the computer and noticed in windows notifications it's mentioning "display driver failed to start" Display drivers are all up to date, this has never happened before and I game quite a lot. Just a little confused on what happened? should i be worried about my hardware failing?

There could be a problem with the physical driver. Did you check that?

That's quite a common thing that can happen from time to time. It's not a sign of hardware failure, just something went wrong in the driver, and even that might just be a one off glitch.
