I recently built my parents a new computer using XP Pro. Currently the
screen saver is set to "my pictures". After a certain period of time the
whole system freezes up. Originally I had the monitor set to go off after 30
minutes and thought this might be the problem. However, after setting
everything on all the time, it still freezes. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jon

Could be many reasons, but two of the main ones would be insufficient
RAM and/or overheating of the CPU.

It has 512mb of RAM, which has always been sufficient on my laptop. The CPU
is a retail Sempron so it uses the standard heatsink, again I would think
this is sufficient since they supply it.
