Screen Saver settings

In the display settings, the screen saver tab has everything greyed out so
that you can not make chanegs to it. I have checked gpedit.msc and all
aspects involving the screen saver settings are set to "not configured". Is
there a place in the registry to lock out the SS settings? Am I missing
something here?

You might want to take a look at this article:

The problem usually results from this key:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ActiveDesktop

Look for a value in the right hand pane named
NoChangingWallPaper set to 1.

You can also go to this web site and run the registry fix on
line 51, left hand side, ScreenSaver Enable/Disable:
