Screen so huge I can't see icons or bring up anything

Hp laptop. Windows 10. Fell asleep watching Netflix and woke up to the screen display so enlarged I can't see any icons including the windows and shut down menu. I am able to log in and then the screen magnifies. I'm unable to bring up any settings because they're so huge I can't navigate past the category.

FYI: you should not need to download anything to "fix" the problem.
