[SOLVED] Screen sometimes dims when in fullscreen

Unfortunately I don't know how long it has been doing it but I suspect a Windows Update or something. I would guess it started a month ago.

My issue is wherever I'm in fullscreen the screen suddenly dims. When I get back by alt+tab the screens switches to normal.

I have tried finding adaptive brightness, but found nothing in the Settings, Control Panel, both Intel and Nvidia Control Panels. I even tried to disable it using command line but it had no effect.

I'm clueless and I would appreciate help, as some games aren't good in windowed mode.

Edit:
Laptop specs:
Model: Asus X550CC-XO1055H
CPU: Intel Core i5-3337U, 1.8 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
Graphic cards:
Intel HD 4000
Nvidia GeForce GT720M
Storage: 1 TB HDD

I actually solved...
Maybe it's an option from the monitor itself? I had it in a Samsung monitor.
Maybe, but that in my opinion seems very unlikely. It's always in fullscreen, never in windowed mode. If it would be the display it would be more random. This seems like a software issue to me but again I'm not an expert, so that's why I'm asking here.

Try this. one of these

  1. Right click Computer, choose Manage, Services and Applications, now click Services and find "NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D Driver Service" and "NVIDIA Streamer Service"
  2. Go for both to Properties, Startup type and choose Disabled
  3. Finally, uninstall Power4Gear Hybrid and restart when prompted.

  1. Search Windows for 'Intel'
  2. Select 'Intel HD Graphics Control Panel'
  3. Click the 'Power' square button
  4. Click 'On Battery' tab
  5. Disable 'Display Power Saving Technology' (I see it as the last option)

I tried the first one but couldn't find the those two Nvidia services. Power4Gear Hybrid has been already uninstalled a long time ago.
I also tried the second one already and it didn't solve the problem

Edit 2:
I actually solved by something as simple as updating both graphic drivers.
