Screen still not working

Hi community, does anybody knows how to repair the next problem:
I have replaced my broken laptop screen for a new one and also the lcd cable but for some reason the laptop is still not working, the screen does not show any image at all...please let me know your thoughts, thanks!

Get a monitor and hook it up via hdmi or dci, then see what going on.

Thanks for comment nathan17890 but ive already done that and the tv showed up this message: "not detected"....I'm not sure though but im starting to think that it could be the internal video card.....i dont know, im not really sure, my laptop expertise is really poor....any other ideas? thank anyway

Maybe you can take a video of the screen not working, it would clear up alot.
