[SOLVED] Screen Tearing = FPS Drops???

I just want a simple answer. I have a NVidia 1660 ti and a Ryzen 5 3500 with a 60hz screen. I know I can get way over 60 fps. I turn vsync off, so I have screen tearing. I am getting a 165hz very soon, will that help stop the fps drops and screen tearing and it has g sync?. Will that stop the screen tearing and fps drops and stuttering?

No it will not stop FPS drops.

Yes it might help the screen tearing.

Gsync works on most Vsync monitors if you use a displayport.
