Question Screen tearing on new 4k monitor

Just got a new 4k monitor from LG (LG 27uk600) and there's alot of screen tearing. When i go to the display settings in windows and can't change the resolution and when i go to the advanced display settings i only have one option for refresh rate. The only option is 64 hz and the monitor is only 60hz. i have tested the display on a less powerful laptop and it had no screen tearing but were a little bit slow since its 4k. My graphics card driver is updated. I'm quite new to computers and this problem have been bugging me for a while now. Feel free to ask question about specs and things i haven't included.

AMD ryzen 3 2200g
GTX 1050

Can you turn V sync on?
GTX 1050 gpu will have no chance of playing any games at 4k, but desktop would be fine.
Are you saying its tearing in games?

All the time. While watching Youtube, Netflix and browsing.

Im not gaming in 4k, just browsing and watching youtube (in full hd). I Will try the V sync.
Also it really wierd, when i GO to the nvidia control panel there is only the 3D Settings.

I haven’t, but i will now. I have screen tearing even when browsing etc. Does this work for fixing that?

I’ve tried them now, but i don’t have the option to turn on adaptive vsync.

I turned it on but it didn’t make any difference

i can adjust things such as brightness and input with a little yoystick on th bottom of the monitor if thats what you mean. There are some drivers on the LG website but i don't know which to get and how to install them.

Now I have installed the drivers from LG and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Yes, but my stupid motherboard doesn't support displayport only hdmi and vga.

Do you currently have your monitor plugged into the motherboard? It should be plugged into the GTX 1050.
