I have a FreeSync compatible monitor and GPU, both enabled in settings yet I still get horrible tearing.
I use Radeon Chill to cap my FPS to 70-73 and enabled Enhanced Sync, this method prevents most of the tearing but I still get horizontal tearing sometimes, I also tried using in-game FPS capping with the same effects.
However, when I play a game and dip down to 50 FPS or lower I get major tearing and I can't seem to find a method to prevent that other than VSync but I'm reluctant on using it because of its input lag penalties.
Can someone explain the proper way of using FreeSync and to prevent ALL tearing?
