Screen Tearing

Hi guys,
i have some major screen tearing. Its only during 3d applications. I have tried different screens with different cords. I have tried two different cards, a 6950 and a 5670. I used the catalyst control with both cards to change the vysnc. I have a 630 watt powersupply, a phenom ii x4 8 gigs of ram, and an asrock 990fx extreme 3 board. What could be causing this issue here?

If you are having screen tearing then you will have to enable the vsync option in the video settings of the game.

Found the problem... Damn windows Aero theme wasn't on. go figure.
