I'm not sure if this would be a GPU or Motherboard issue and was wondering what could be causing this to happen.
Randomly (happens more often when playing video games) my computer screen will shut off saying "No HDMI Output" and then it will go to a black screen. However, my computer is still running (the fan is really loud) and I can usually hear the sounds that were running on my computer before it occurs.
I'm assuming this is a graphics card issue, but how can I be certain that this isn't something else so I know what needs to be replaced. What are some tests that I can run that will confirm what hardware component is causing the issue?
