Question screen turns off when changing resolution

i've had 2 monitors for a while recently got a new pc plugged them in there working fine and was waiting for my third monitor to come in the mail
(lg ultrafine) plugged it in everything seemed to be working fine till i noticed my main 240 hz monitor (AW2518HF) was running at 60 hz whenever i try to change the monitor to 240hz inside of display settings the panel simply turns off tried creating a custom resolution inside of my nvidia control panel as well at 1920x 1080 240hz which has the same effect monitor just turns off doesnt jump back on till i turn it back on with the power button and then just reverts to 60hz tried plugging my new monitor back out and changing back to 1920 x 1080 at 240hz same issue happened tried to plug it into a different display port with no effect either

For the displays/monitors you have now, do you have their actual drivers installed? Not the generic Windows plug and play drivers.

I am not talking about the GPU drivers, but are those updated as well?
