I have a Benq monitor, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. My monitor, after a few minutes or hours of inactivity, gets a pink tint(( like I am wearing pink shades) I couldn't figure out why and it goes away when i restart the pc. Today it was pink right when i switched it on, but it went off after i restarted. I don't know if this relates to the weird noise my computer is making when playing games, but i think its the monitor....or it might be the computer as it goes off with a restart? Please help me guys, i need to find a solution for this, because it freaks me out sometimes.

Solution
take the videocard out & use the onboard video to see if still have pink issue as trying to isolate where the problem is coming from. make certain the video cable is connected tight to the videcard as MrKrako said 1st to see if a cable issue or not before removing the videocard.

This is what i found. It says 'depends on cpu' so the answer is yes? because my cpu is Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

Solution
I'm telling you about the cable because i use a DVD-I adaptor with a VGA cable in one of my pcs and sometimes, when i move it and get loose, the screens turns deep blue or pink because is not connect right.
