I have a HANNS.G HH281H TFT LCD 27.5" HDMI Monitor. Recently I turned my computer on, only to be presented with a white screen. Since then it works in short bursts. I had it on for about 20 minutes before it started horizontal flickering, then changed to a white screen with vertical colour bands.

Its not cable or input problem. Its also nothing to do with my computer or graphics card.

Any ideas what could be wrong? I am out of warranty period.

It will cost just about as much to fix the monitor as to get a new one, if you are sure it's the monitor. If you checked the cables and your computer, it's nothing that can be fixed cheaply. You can try to buy a system board for the monitor and replace it, but it could also be the LCD itself. By the time you are done buying and trying parts, you'd have been able to just buy a new monitor.
