Screens going blank and fans going to idle!

Randomly both my screens will go blank and all the fans will slow down to idle forcing me to do a hard restart. So far this has only happened during gaming which is making me think possibly my graphics card is the problem.

This has been happening for a while now but yesterday my PSU died, I've installed the replacement PSU and got the PC running again but still with the same issue of screens turning off and fans going to idle!

Any pointers would be of great help!

list all parts in system but i would try with one monitor only .

I've had it for just over 8 years but:

i7 920
HD 4890
6gb DDR3 OCZ Gold
700watt CoolerMaster B700v2 (This was installed today)

To add:
Shortly after this screen issue started happening my power supply failed, blowing the fuse and tripping the fuse box for the house which is why I've had to replace it. Could a fault GFX card cause this or could it be a coincidence?

do you have another gpu around for test this one could be short or another parts in system is to made fuse blow out and breaker to trip off .

Unfortunately not, I fear my only option is to buy a new card and pray it fixes it

Update: So I just ran Prime95 to see how that went and my PC started making a clicking sound (Like electricity arcing) which is the exact same sound it made just before my PSU got fried...

I think maybe it's time to put her to rest, doesn't sound good to me

i would recheck all power cable and also if the board is not touching back of case this sound like a short from board to case .
