Screensaver simply overlays on top of windows. ???

Windows 7 Ultimate: I tried setting up screensaver - bubbles, and bubbles does come on after the set amount of time, but the entire desktop, IE, whatever I have up, stays, and the bubbles simply come on over the top. Shoud this not work by giving a black screen with only the bubbles as with every other OS I've used? (thinking back to 98SE)

That is exactly what bubbles in Win 7 does - it overlays over your current desktop view.

Wow, OK, I was thinking is was odd; I'll consider it 'normal' then.
