Hey I have just purchased a brand new laptop of HP IP series(model bs179tx) and after using it for one day I just tilted it for moving it to another place and some sound started coming from inside as if something was rolling inside,I quickly googled it for the issue and then got a solution to remove the battery and try to allow it to come out from the hole and I was successful in taking out the thing and that was a small screw. But now I am worried that why that screw came out from it,is there anything not properly fitted there or some other big problem.I would definetely go to the shop from where I purchased but till then can someone from their prior experience tell me what might be the problem(small or big).I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

I'm not saying you dropped it.. it could have been dropped/thrown at the assembly plant, during transportation to the shop you bought it from, at the shop you bought it from, etc...

For there to be a loose screw on the inside, it didn't come loose on it's own. It also makes me wonder what else is "loose/damaged" on the inside. If it was an 'all sales final' situation, then I'd open it up myself and take a look. In your case though, you should exchange it.

Hey but I never dropped it,it seems the shop from where I purchased might have dropped but its not sure, can this screw coming out lead to any damage in the future please help ?
