Screw is stuck to standoff

I removed my mobo while doing my pc build and the standoff must have not been screwed in properly so know the screw is stuck to the standoff and the mobo is in between it so i cant just pull it off please help.

take a pair of pliers and grab the standoff and then use a screwdriver and unscrew the screw. Its not rocket science here.

Since metal standoffs are hex bits in the first place - you should be able to use a nut driver or adjustable wrench to grab the standoff and hold it in place while you use a screwdriver on the screw.

Ideally you would get someone to hold the motherboard while you do this and be sure that you (and your helper) are grounded at the time.

so your mobo is still attached by one screw or is it off completely?
